Das Mentoring-Programm für Erstsemester wurde im WS 16/17 vom FSR ins Leben gerufen. Dieses soll dir als Studienanfänger*in einen leichteren Einstieg in das Studium ermöglichen. In der Einführungswoche werden die Studierenden näher über das Programm informiert und dann kannst du entscheiden, ob Lust hast daran teilzunehmen. Ihr trefft euch dann regelmäßig mit eurem*eurer Mentor*in und könnt mit ihr*ihm über das Studium und auftretende Probleme oder Fragen sprechen. Das Mentoring ist allerdings kein Nachhilfeprogramm. Es geht darum, Dir eine Hilfe bereitzustellen, mit Deinem neuen Leben als Student*in zurecht zu kommen, die Uni und deine Kommiliton*innen kennenzulernen und von der Erfahrung älterer Studierender zu profitieren.

Das Mentoring findet jedes Jahr im Wintersemester statt. Informationen für das Mentoring 2025/26 bekommt ihr in der Erstiwoche in der Veranstaltung "Begrüßung durch die Studierenden" am Mittwoch (08.10.) um 11 Uhr in HS 1.

Welcome to the University of Rostock! 
As studying abroad in a completely new country is very challenging, we offer you a mentoring program. In the program, you can socialize with the other physics master students, catch up on important skills like LaTeX, programming and report writing and find help and support for most of your organisational questions and problems. If we cannot help ourselves, we will connect you to the people that can.
